I am a Seattle-based reference librarian and freelance copy editor. I am also a copy writer, book seller, and word aficionado. I achieved an MLIS in 2020 from San Jose State University, where I graduated summa cum laude, obtained a B.A. in English literature in 1999 from The Evergreen State College, and completed the University of Washington Extension's Certificate Program in Editing in 2005.
I have performed copyediting work for several non-profit organizations, assisted innumerable individuals in improving their resumes, graduate school applications, presentations, speeches, essays, proposals, websites, articles, term papers, cover letters, and correspondence. As a copy editor I favor Gregg’s Reference Manual and The Chicago Manual of Style but am capable of adapting to whatever editing format you require, whether that be AP, APA, MLA, New York Times, or Turabian styles. I am also available for copy writing.
